Who's a good boy? Yes you are!

August 13, 2004: Bad news for Ash! Well, it seems I've been a bad daddy and I don't keep him brushed as well as I should. Long story short: I had to get him shaved. It's not the worst thing that could happen to him and I might just do this at the start of each summer. BeeZee doesn't really like it either since he occassionally growls at Ash. I tell him, "It's your brother, Dummy! Just sniff his butt and leave him alone." Tana, the girl who shaved him for me, keeps telling me it will grow back but I still feel bad for him (when I'm not laughing at him). Here are some pics of my poor little guy.

He looks so little!

March 20, 2003: Well, it's been about 6 months now and the kittens are about a year old. They are full-grown pains-in-the-ass! Actually, they're pretty good boys. They still need to work on that whole "cover the poop" thing but maybe I need to get a bigger box. Oh! And they have names! Ash and BeeZee! Ash is the long-hair, light-colored, over-affectionate, jealous one and Beez is the short-hair, darker, insecure, cry-baby. They both love people and get along great with each oter. Their favorite games are to predict where Scott is going to want to walk or stand and then lay there (like most cats) and the other is to get on each side of a door and take turns reaching under and grabbing at the other's paws. It's SO DAMN CUTE! And they occasionally knock the crap out of each other (figuratively) but at least they can amuse themselves when I'm not there. So... here are some updated pics!

Me and my BeeZee Buddy.

September 2002: Well, I finally did it. I broke down and got a new kitty (two actually). They are a not-so-little pair of six-month old Siamese twins. They aren't pure bred Siamese, they have the beautiful blue eyes but they aren't sassy or have that typical Siamese "wail". I'm not sure if I seen a more affectionate pair of cats. You simply can't pet them enough to satisfy them! I still keep them locked up in the bathroom when I'm not there, at least until they get declawed. I don't have names for them yet (that's a very big decision!) but you can tell them apart by their color. One is whitish and the other is light browish and the brown one has a broken / kinked tail. You can't really see it but you can feel it when you pet him. Well, enough of the chit-chat, bring on the kit-kats!

"You want me to jump
on your shoulder? Ok."

"What?"

"So that's the way out, huh?"
"Yep."

"Nope, I just don't see it."
"I'm telling you, it's up there."

"Damn, all he does is eat."

"Yeah, you see the belly... get rubbing!"

"It's a curse being this cute."
"I still don't see it..."
